This picture appeared in the National Geographic. I was taken up the scale and the composition of the picture at first, then the drama below suddenly struck me.. the speed of the deer and its lithe footed leaps that almost made it seem as if it was treading water. I guess the panther is faster because that is how nature balances itself... as William Blake wrote in his poem "the Tiger" "did he who make the lamb make thee"..Sunday, March 9, 2008
