Simon and Garfunkel: Kathy's Song

Sound of silence started me on Simon and Garfunkel.

Ever since then  I have been following their songs and always, always  taking care always to follow the lyrics. This is often difficult because of sound quality and also because of the accent.:)
Keeping in mind this  difficulty, I have always kept the version with the lyrics."Kathy's song" is something I just came across and the lyrics too are available here. Heartbreak it seems is often the best muse for poetry , the world over :)

Simon &Garfunkel :The Sound of Silence

Graduate was a pathbreaking film and I saw it first when I was a post-graduate student in IRMA circa 1986-88. I was also taken up my the music and managed to get a Simon and Garfunkel tape for myself. Sound of Silence has been on my mind ever since and I never fail to be captivated by it.
